It is dangerous to be right in matters on which the established authorities are wrong. —Voltaire, 1751

okay kids, it’s November, and that means it’s National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo.  And I’m all in.  All in.

What is it?  From their website: National Novel Writing Month is a fun, seat-of-your-pants approach to novel writing. Participants begin writing November 1. The goal is to write a 175-page (50,000-word) novel by midnight, November 30.

I’m writing a memoir, something hardcore NaNoWriMo people say doesn’t count. I say it does.  It’s so bizarre it might as well be fiction.

The goal is 1667 words a day, I did 4698 tonight.
